Basketball Courts Always Occupied

I know this is a stupid thread, but I want to say this. Every time I go to the nearby park to play basketball, there are always people, whatever age, teenagers, adults, elderly, there occupying it for hours. Do they sleep there or own the place? Seems ridiculous. What can I do about this problem?

Second this. Unless the court is bookable, usually it's just an ongoing casual game between random groups of people where people come and go as they please.
