Football player in Hong Kong

Hello everyone,

As i don't know much about football in Hong Kong i am going to ask for your advice. More precisely, i would like to become a football player and play for a local Hong Kong club. I am from Romania, Europe and i play from very little. Of course i know that the league's quality is poorer than Europe's leagues, but i still have no choice.
Can you please tell me what am i supposed to do to get in touch with a number of clubs? Do you know by any chance which is the monthly wage for a regular player in Hong Kong league?

Well the local clubs such as south china etc won't actually pay you much as the attendance figures are pretty low and sponsorship won't be much due to the low attendance figures.

Take a look at HKFA as a pointer.

Thank you Jimbo for your prompt answer. What would you advice me to do? Send some mails and ask if they need players, or how should i approach this subject?

Best bet is to ask them for a list of coaches or scouts for the clubs in the HK league and then contact them asking for a trial.

Or try and join in one of the amateur games you see at the public pitches all over hk and see if you get spotted.
