Gundogan's fine form to end the season may have earned a three-year contract. Perhaps not at City, but someone will pay for his prime-time heroics and leadership. If this the end of his stay at City, I hope he goes out with one more victory.

Wish him all the best. He may not be the first or second or even the third City player you think of when naming all-time club greats but he captained the treble-winning team, played his best in big matches, and never embarrassed himself or the club on and off the pitch. He's a legend and hopefully gets a statue erected next to Kun and Vinny.
