Easiest way to watch world cup at home?

Don't have a TV plan or anything.

Can I just buy NowTV access online for a month?

Or smart DNS / VPN an option?

Don't want to be dealing with any buffering issuesz etc.

    Thanks in advance.

My understanding is that it's all on BBC and ITV. I use this service when I want to watch UK Freeview channels from HK. Never had troubles so far:

    https://expatprime.tv/

    Costs US$10/mo

if what aw451 is correct (which i think is) then a VPN to London would also work

ViuTV are showing 19 matches. Just download their App.

“In Hong Kong, Now TV will be exclusively broadcasting all 64 matches live in 4K*, while ViuTV will broadcast 19 selected matches live, including the opening match, the two semi-finals and the final. The tournament will be also available on Now E.”

Thanks. Yeah Now have it for 500 odd but I think you need to be a subscriber.

Now E have it for something like HKD2k though.

Tried the expat TV option mentioned yesterday, they are doing a 14 day free trial. Worked for the most part but every so often did get buffering issues. Also for about 15 mins they had technical issues.

I have a vpn etc but with the buffering and slowdown issues, it was getting annoying. Also, being 30secs-1min delayed vs my friends back home was also frustrating as my whatsapp would blow up when there were goals etc and I wouldnt have seen it yet! ;-P

I did the world cup pack with Now E. $1200 for the tourney. Burnt some of my AMEX points to pay for it so it didnt really cost me anything. Nothing worth exchanging with points atm anyways.

    Just to add:

For the Now E app, on iOS (ipad and iphone) you need a local HK account. It doesnt appear on my US or UK accounts. And for watching on my mac that is connected to the TV, you have to watch it via Safari. It doesnt work via Chrome.

There are plenty of sellers on Carousell selling the Now E access codes for $600 and above

Will try the Expatprime one for the England game tonight.

Other option will be maybe a SmartDNS and an Aussie stream.

BTW Getflix lifetime Smart DNS and VPN on offer for USD50 lifetime via stacksocial:

The Aussie stream in the link below. It shows all games live plus full replays. To watch requires a DNS such as getflix, dns4me, proton, etc. Then you create a free account on the site and can watch for free.
