Well the 1m bond demand from the league appears to have had the desired effect. Court case withdrawn and all parties are currently sitting around a table. The bond is noto required If the clu is sold.

Well what a difference a week makes. Sale seemingly imminent. 1 mill bond requirement lifted. Transfer embargo lifted, two signings yesterday. All of a sudden the future is brighter.
Woohoo! After 17 months!

A taste of things to come - already loads of good things happening in terms of sponsorship and ground improvement as well

Long overdue update from me. 2-0 home win last night sees us to mid table but we’ve only lost one and had a game postponed as the train containing players broke down
Been steadily adding to the squad but more important developing revenue streams and the new consortium are instrumental in saying they’re not throwing silly money away.
As usual fans over expecting when they should just be grateful we survived.
Fairly disgusting sacking of Mark Robins today by Coventry. Always been fond of them. They were a great watch with Strachan at the helm back in the day, but hoping to see the owners get punished for this decision.
Hull City sack Tim Walters. Inevitable really. 3 wins in 16, in the relegation zone. Tuesday saw a poor performance and 0-2 loss at home.
A club that was full of hope and positivity..
I don’t think Hull will thank me for resurrecting this thread but after a turbulent few years and despite a transfer embargo before the season started Southend finally scraped into a play off spot yesterday. Over 9,500 watched yesterday and average for the season is 7,300. Need a point away to Gateshead on Bank Holiday Monday 5th May. Lose and Gateshead take the spot. I’ll be there!!!!
Our away attendances have been astonishing too. Over 1,600 at Ebbsfleet last week and unless it’s a midweek game,e up North typically anywhere between 500 and 1,000.
Dont expect to succeed through the play offs but after hitting rock bottom it’s been an amazing season. Next season we will have no embargo and be able to attract players. We won’t be doing it the Wrexham way either.
Another one for Hull. I’ve also been keeping an eye out on Kidderminster (Phil Brown). Just missed auto promotion on the last day. He has had an amazing season too. I’d love to see them come through the play offs. Our demise coincided with his sacking.
