    Stoke 1-3 Hull

So top 3 Leicester, Preston, Ipswich

5 points behind are Hull in 4th then Leeds in 6th. Sunderland are 5th and play later, will probably move to 4th.

Summary of yesterday from the BBC

Leeds absolutely despatched a very poor watford team. Georginio Rutter was completely unplayable at times.

Woohoo! And currently 2-0 up. If results go our way we could be out of the relegation zone. Without the 10 pt deduction we’d be in a play off spot.

Due to injuries, one international call up, cup tied loan players we are fielding 12 plus 2 academy players for todays FA Cup away to Yeovil. They are in the division below but top of the league and unbeaten at home. I’m fearing an ugly score line. To say our midfield today is makeshift is an understatement.

Successful English-own football clubs are becoming an endangered species.

    A FB headline:

    Hull City 2-1 Serbia.

In the 3-1 win by England U21 two of the England goals came from Hull players. One, Delap, actually on loan from Man City.

As expected a 2-0 defeat with this 16 yo academy player making his debut as sub in the first half after an injury. If you’re good enough you’re old enough (Rooney, Owen) but look at him, still well underdeveloped. Having said that the reports are praiseworthy of his performance. My brother actually knows the family. His father owns a skip hire company. Extremely wealthy but very down to earth. The kid is also a distance running champion. We’ve paid off all the debts but the league won’t lift the embargo.

the pic is with his proud mum after the game.

5-0 for my boys today and up to 16th. Would have been in the play off spots without the 10pt embargo.
