New World Harbour Race - Unsuccessful

The New World Harbour Race draw was today and unfortunately I was one of many unsuccessful applicants for the time trials. The HKGSA say there is no waiting list and will not be filling any spots for people who do not complete the time trial. Seems a bit silly since the slots were based on a draw and surely there will be people who can no longer attend or have to drop out.

Any other ideas on how I can get back in the race?

Sorry that I also don't know of another way to now join the event this year - I also wanted to do it.

Oh well, next year... perhaps.

usually sponsor can have some quotas they might slide in participants. check the list of sponsors and see if you know any senior guys around..
