Try downloading the TVUPlayer on download.com or somewhere similar. They have CBS and Fox feeds, but I don't know where from, so you can't pick your games. But you can watch the highlight at least on NFL Gameday or luck into your team playing.
NFL.com also does webcasts if you're outside of North America: http://sports.yahoo.com/nflgamepass.
But it's a whopping $250 for a season's pass, and the games are only available for two days, with no archiving. The NFL always seemed to have its head together on broadcasting properly, but blew it on this one. MLB.com only costs $80 for a season, and every game is archived, ready to watch whenever you want.

Oh, yeah, the TVUPlayer has an NHL channel listed on it, too; I assume it has game broadcasts every so often.

get slingbox set up in the states so you can at least watch it on the computer. out of the 4 major sports, MLB has the best package online... 99 bucks with evereything included over 6 months period.

Even I have a slingbox, i might consider subscribe MLB online next season.

Slingbox won't help you there. For that, you'd probably need some sort of alternate reality viewing device, to watch the universe where Peyton Manning doesn't choke and throw 4 INTs against the Pats.
