How can I watch American football games?

Hola amigos, yer friendly octoruss here looking forward to football season. However, as I'm now based in HK, I have no way of watching my beloved Patriots games on TV. Sure I have ESPN on NOW Broadband, but that just won't cut it.

Does anybody know if the NFL (or some other website) allows you to watch the games online live or delayed? Can one download a tape of the games?

What are the options for those of us now based in the US to watch the games?

hey man, I find that the best way to do it is to watch live feeds of the games from either espn.com or nfl.com. you need a fast connection to watch it live, but you can also download it for uninterrupted watching later. Regarding bars to watch it, youre kind of out of luck. Some places carry it, but i have not found a legit sports bar that i would pass on as a recommendation.

Im a pats fan too, btw.

    radio channel internet webcast

49ers uses KNBR radio channel for their game broadcasts. KNBR is available over Internet. At least, I can listen to the games real time.

Check out if your team has similiar setup - game broadcast over the Net.

Hey, espn you can watch the Sunday & Monday nite games.

I've been doing it for 11 years now.
Try to get a friend back home to tape the games and mail 'em to ya. Or dvd nowadays.

Should be even quicker with bittorrent.

There are a few bars which show the games. Will track down who is show them this year.

thanks everyone for your thoughts. I've scoured and scoured but it looks like there is nothing like MLBTV.com that broadcasts football games with regularity.

Bittorrent would be great, but of course we're dependent upon someone who can do that--too bad I can't talk my mother into doing it for me!

You can do bittorrent yourself, as long as you have a pc and connection.

You can download a bittorrent client from here.

    http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

And you can download the torrent files from places like

    http://www.torrentspy.com
http://www.uknova.com (try to register around 3 / 4 PM Hong Kong time when they clean up their old expired registrations)
