There is one on Po Heung st. I think it is for serious bodybuilders.
There is a Physical fitness at Citylink plaza Shatin.

There's a municipal/government gym on the 6th floor of the cooked food market building in Tai Po Market. It's pretty difficult and a bit complicated trying to join, but when you eventually manage it you'll get $13 entry off-peak/$14 entry peak time, and no membership cost.

You have to enrol on a sort of induction course which you must pass before being able to use the gym, and most of these courses are done by ballot/lottery, so it can take a while to get a place on one. I arrived here start of march and about a month ago I finally got a place on a course which takes place next week... I'm pretty excited to finally get the chance to use the gym!! It's been pretty frustrating as I live just across the road!

Hi mrplow... see my post before yours for how they work. They are quite friendly and willing to take time explaining how it works, so just have a visit and chat to them. You can also check out the gym whilst you're there as it might not actually be what you're after. There is not a lot of equipment (1 of each thing) but on the plus side it's quite spacious, has a view, and has air con of course
