Hey all!
I've been trying to look for a really cheap bike in hong kong... as I want to ride it for a month... I figured it would be cheaper than renting one in cheng chau every day!
Does anyone know where I can get a cheap bike?thanks!!!

If you catch the ferry across to Mui Wo, Friendly Bikes and the one next to it sell cheap bikes starting from around $300.
Mui Wo is tiny- just ask where the bike stores are. Or get off the ferry and walk forward/left for 1-2 blocks (past McDonalds) and you should find them.

There's a place in Sai Kung near the McDonalds (across the street and behind the new tea place) that has some cheap ones. I saw a full sized mountain-bike-type thing for $500 brand new.

Actually, there is a cheap bike shop on Wood Lane in Wanchai, next to Bicycle World (which is not a cheap shop).
