    World Cup 2010 TV channel

I just moved to HK and signed up for 24mnths of Now TV. I just read that I Cable has exclusive rights to the 2010 World Cup. I can't miss this event so I was wondering:

    a. Is it possible to have both Now TV and I Cable?
    b. Is it possible to get a short contract for watching the World Cup?
    C. If I did have to subscribe to I Cable how much is the Sports package?

    a: yes
b: yes, but it would be expensive (one time installation fee plus high monthly)
    c: dunno - http://www.cabletv.com.hk

well, for c), you can also just ask one of those cable tv promoters standing on street corners in Causeway Bay/Mongkok/they're everywhere really. They have better rates than the website. Since the world cup is a whiles away, ask a few more promoters, and make up "cheaper rates you heard elsewhere" if you have to, you never know how low they can go. Good luck!!

Cable TV won the WC2010 bid, which will become the sole broadcaster for the event.

239 per month including 2 HD Sport Channels, 24month contract
