Anyone here a PHYSICAL member? PLEASE READ!

So I'm looking for a gym to join and would LOVE to try out Physical. I went to ask whether they have trial memberships offered, and they said they only offered it if only I'm being 'led' by an existing member (otherwise I'll have to pay $150 PER GO!). Now I don't personally know anyone who goes to Physical, so I was wondering if anyone on here is a member, and if they would be so kind to let me have a trial. I will make it up to you, I promise!! (details can be negotiated)

I am a member. I used to go in the mornings - at around 7am. However, I stopped gym during the christmas and new year season. I'd like to get back into the gym, but now due to work commitments I can only go during the evening - after work.

Hey Martyn,

Have you heard anything about an existing member introducing 3 new members then they'd offer the new members annual fee at $1800? I heard it somewhere and wanna confirm it.

Yes, I have heard of this "deal". Although, there are some catches - you cannot use the one in Shatin (which is the biggest one). Also, I think you need to pay all the $1800 in one go. Moreover, the membership is not transferrable.

You don't have to pay in one go I think, if you use a credit card that provides interest-free installment plans (agreed by the bank and Physical) then you can pay monthly I think... the price is tempting when you spread it out like that...

Coming to think about it, you may be right. I recalled I wanted to pay cash and they told me I had to pay upfront.

Argh, that is quite a catch isn't it? You can't use the best branch of their gym- lol! I say it depends where you are, biothermus, if you are near the other branches and not the one in shatin, I say it's well worth going for it, as it is unlikely you're gonna go to the one in shatin even if you could anyway.
