Last year I had tickets from a corporate for Friday and Saturday, but I needed 2 Sunday tickets. I seem to remember that I paid $700 each from someone the week before.

    Proving ticket authenticity

Can someone with authentic tickets send me a photo? There's some bad rumours about dodgy tickets around and since I'm paying HKD 5000 each here in London for them, I'd be happier seeing an original if poss!

I'm assuming the HKD 5,000 is for a weekend. Whilst expensive it's not too bad. The HKD 880 is for a day pass......

No, absolutely not - a 3-day HK Sevens ticket costs $880. You cannot buy day tickets separately (except from resellers who have bought 3-day tickets are have broken them into separate days for resale). Official outlets only sell 3-day passes.

Ha ha ha - no, not insane.... but not flying to HK for the 5th year and NOT getting tickets !! (Flights and hotel all booked already....)

I've actually found some tickets cheaper with a ticket agent .. still not vaguely reasonable price but hey, what am I supposed to do ?

Tickets for the 7's is ridiculous these days... I've never had to pay more than $880 in the past but this year, even players I know can't get us spares....

Er no.... That is just for a ticket.... What are you supposed to do when the corporates have them all and create this over-inflated market ?

Typical Corporate world..... However there are still some around. Try a classified on here and see what happens. People do have spares. I've managed to pick some up from a friend who brought 4 but then found 2 of her friends can no longer come.

I may have spoken to soon! A guy and his mates in scotland who flew out to the public sale can no longer go and have offered me his tickets for face value. If I get them it will restore my faith in human nature!

When i was searching for tickets, i found ticket agents in Australia and UK that are selling tickets for like HK$3000 to HK$5000 for the 3-day passes. They look like proper ticket sites that sells tickets for events (like cityline in HK). Some are even specialised Rugby Sites. Not sure where they get their tickets though? Allocated to overseas fans?

Local market is re-selling at like HK$1500 to HK$2750. I guess some people queued up at public sales with intention to re-sell and make a profit or bought for frens who dun need it anymore but still they would want to make a profit out of it. If only people would appreciate that there are really people out there that really wants to go to the matches and sell at reasonable prices, like just slightly over the face value to compensate for the queuing and transportation.

Nevertheless, if any nice human has reasonably price tickets, please let me know.

Hope to see you all at the Sevens!
