    Price is another factor. I’ll admit I’ve not spent time doing in depth research but I’m convinced there’s still a hefty premium for innovation.
    I think there is also a hefty premium for paying for petrol and servicing etc ... We don't drive a whole lot but glad we're not paying the current price at the pump.

    Worth considering the total cost of ownership.

    (Not at current costs... I don't think they'll come down in the near future, but Putin has certainly not helped)

    I feel these fancy modern electric cars are not safe enough. They just haven't been around long enough to work out all the bugs. The have so much software in them controlling critical systems. There are millions of lines of computer code in a Tesla car. It will be even scarier in the future, when the use AI to write software for your car.

    Very specific to an MG I suspect. Would be curious to see what the cause was, if they ever reveal it.
