    Plus cost about 8k. If I'd known (and had the time) I would have flown to another country and got it there. Actually it would be interesting to know the best country to do this.

    I believe thats tough as the TD wants you to live in that country for at least 6 months if its not your home country...

    Do you know, if I can use my own motorcycle for the driving test (L Plate)? If yes, does a manual vespa count?

    Question

    What are the exact luggage rules for HK?

    I am considering using a bike but I want to know what size stuff I can legally get on the bike.

    For example,
    A surfboard rack is the biggest thing I can think of and afaik it's not allowed. Is that true?

    So how large can (for example) a backpack legally be?

    I'm interested in the legal aspect first. Figuring out what's actually practical is a separate issue to think about after knowing this first.
