As long as you can get it registered then you can still ride it on the roads except Highways (min 125cc).

Im not sure what the stipulations are on this, though. The Kawasaki dealer had a SWEET Honda NSR 80 (thats right, 80. Thats not a typo), but said it wouldnt be road legal....no idea why.

Just to give you an idea of the size, my woman is about 4'11", and it barely came up to her waist.

I believe those were legal in Japan, in the US we had a Yamaha YSR 50 two stroke that was street legal and about the same size.

Wow 80cc, that is nice, how much were they asking for, I bought a 50cc one thinking it was cool, took it home and had it up and runing, damm thing wouldnt move, sort of had to do a push start, full throttle, saw the weight limit 80Kg WTF LOL, gave it to my younger brother Haahaaa

I think it cant be registered as it doesnt have indicators, maybe one of the reasons

Maybe it didn't have a valid title or couldn't pass emissions on import or something. Who knows...they wanted $30k for it! I stopped asking questions at that point.

I talked to EPD and TD, they said minibikes just need COC, EEC, or EPA for the country they came from. I was thinking of getting a cheap Chinese 125cc mini super motard kind of like the Kawasaki 110 dual sport.

BTW you can see the indicators on the NSR80 and it's close to 20 years old so should be able to register. I would guess it is probably between 1993-1996, good luck finding parts.
