Converting License "P" when coming back to your country?

    Hi,

I passed my motorcycle driving license in Hong Kong last year. I am still in probation period till November.

I would like to know if I leave HK back to my country (France) before end of my probation period, can I still convert it to my country license ?

    Anyone got such experience before?

Thank you in advance for your sharing

    Regards

Not every country accepts a motorbike licence obtained in HK. I don't think the UK does for instance.

    Dear All,

    Thank you for your asnwers.

HK driving license can be exchanged to a french license - if you become a french resident. But it is still uncertain if the license is in "P" period.
