Car graveyard of sorts. Very spooky to walk past dozens of cars in dozens of Los like this one.

I would not say abandoned, long term storage perhaps?

I have a friend in mid levels and he has 5 cars, 4 of which are under similar covers all the time, he only drives 1 as his daily drive at the moment.

Yeah, the parking lot photo that I just uploaded seems to be cars belonging to a dealer or some rich collector who has over 50 cars ranging from new Ferrari types to old rolls. Just spooky to walk down that part of the parking lot. Reminds me of a scene from the Disney movie cars.

Shri, should you ever find yourself in Southern California, you should visit the airplane boneyard in the Mojave Desert. Kinda' like abandoned vehicles on steroids.

I've seen those featured in a fair few discovery channel / airplane repo-refurb-craftsman-auctionhunter type shows.

Not sure if this is abandoned or someone got drunk and forgot where they left their car... For weeks.

That page is an interesting read. The housing department have a lot of stuff to auction off. How do they end up with all this? People abandoning their public housing? Or old folks dying without any next of kin?

I remember a car dealer British expat who did exactly that with a customer's consignment car while having a big night out in Wanchai! 12 months later and a hefty bill.

One of the 2022 July auction lists had 3000gms of gold bars in serviceable but perhaps not usable condition.
