Just FYI, there have been some cases (medical insurance and bank account opening) where a print out of a bank statement wouldn't satisfy the companies. I'm Canadian too and all of my bills are electronic while the physically mailed stuff is utilities which are under my fiance's name. I ultimately was unable to satisfy the bank but the insurance agent was able to come visit my premises to confirm the proof of address.

It's still better to have one utility company under your name because as Viktri mentioned that a printout statement or mobile phone statement (even original) is not acceptable for bank account opening or other occasions. I found the electricity company CLP is the easiest to deal with, and the name registration can be done on phone. We use eStatements for CLP, but when needed, I called the customer service to request for a statement by mail, no charge.
