    Car restricted areas

Can anyone tell me where the other car restricted areas are of the HKSAR, or point me to a list? (i.e. where cars are banned entirely - or banned unless holding a permit)

    For example:

    - Sai Kung country park
    - Discovery Bay
    - Park Island
    - South Lantau Closed Road
    - Shenzhen Bay Border Crossing

Cool - if you can tell me what the idea is, that would be good

All country parks. Can't even use a bike there without a permit. All the border crossings.

Boundary Closed Area/Frontier Closed Area, unless you have a permit.

that looks like near Man Kam To as the east rail is clearly visible and the surrounding match there better than lok ma chau with wetlands and flat geography

is that Sheung Shui along the east rail line? If so, does that sign pertain only to vehicles, or to joggers/bikers too?

It is on Choi Yuen Road which runs beside the Sheung Shui Slaughter House and the Shek Shui River.

I have seen plenty of cyclists and joggers run past the sign, but the road is a dead end, more access on the other side near the prison along Fai King Road.

presumably old photo as the closed area is not located there (closer to the border now)
