This thread reminds me of a man ( I used to work for ) who used to advertise/own the, Melbourne restaurant advisory service hotline in the mid 80's ( he's long passed now ) who just happened to own a restaurant in North Melbourne lol He used to recommend his own restaurant !!!!

I would bought and sold on Geo. and AX. and I think both are better than the general Facebooks.
Here's my tuppence worth:
Geo. for services tutors/helpers/handyman
AX. for things cars/musical instruments/etc.
Don't know why!
Everything sells when it is the ' right ' price.
And agree with Enderman, exact same experience.
I have bought and sold various consumer electronic gear on AX, sold all of my personal cars using it, ( 10 ) advertised late Friday afternoon, usually sold by Saturday afternoon, Sunday latest.
I never advertise during the week, as your ad just gets lost ( in the page depths ) and most buyers are active on the weekend, so, it is a good strategy to have your ad posted amongst the first 2 or 3 pages of ads on Saturday morning.. ( most customers are lazy, they arent going to look though pages and pages of ads... ie human nature ) .
