Agree with TB, never had an issue at Admiralty. Maximum 10 minute wait, often less. Don't go first thing or at lunchtime.

Last time I was in Kwun Tong was probably 3 years ago and it was rare to find more than 6 people in the queue, mid morning, mid week. Things have obviously changed - I will stick to the postal option!

Did Admiralty at 10:15am. Waited in line 17 minutes and 3 minutes to process the papers. In and out in 20 total. Not bad.

Newbie here...the vehicle registration needs to be renewed yearly around the date it got issued correct? A few weeks before it happens, right? The paper itself doesn't have a "valid until" date. Thanks!

Yes the vehicle has to be renewed before or on the actual date of expiry, the date is on the piece of document that you see on the left hand top side of a car windscreen or laminated and attached to the rear license plates of motor bikes. The actual vehicle registration document on the back should have a date when it was last renewed but sometime the TD officer will forgot to fill it in LOL

The valid until is written on the blue paper. I think you can renew it 3 month before expiry. If you need MOT better do the MOT as early as possible (MOT must not be older then 3 month).

    And bring proof of address!

They didn't forget, hey've stopped doing that years ago. It used to say something like "staff should refer to computer entry" at the beginning and now afaik it doesn't say anything on the back anymore.

Vehicle inspections for cars that you need if the car is over 6 years old.
