    Bike Ticket - what for?

Just wondering, saw a bike with an unknown police ticket. What does it mean?

It just says to move your bike ( shatin) due to illegal parking, ( or occupying a legit free parking spot for too many days) ASAP or they will tow it away.

Is that a heads up before seizure? I think those are the letters they put on bicycles before they scoop em all up and put them into a lot before they're auctioned off.

It's a bike parking spot. Do they have time limits same as unmetered car parking spots? (24 hours I think)

Or has the registration expired? Have a 2nd look some time later

You cant occupy the same parking spot for more than 24 hours, and need to park in a different spot each day, if you hog the same spot (free or metered) they'll give you that warning letter at first, then they'll tow away a few days later.
