And it will...a bit...for a week.
The definition of insanity is doing something over and over again and expecting a different result.

I'm guessing the usual spots in central will remain untouched however.
Also I query, esp in central, is it cheaper to risk getting a fine, as opposed to paying for parking?
What do mobile speed traps look like?? Yikes. I've noticed parking enforcement is up this year, and I recognise it's needed in some areas more than others, I think parking fines should vary by district. In central, sure $320 and you can park there the whole day, but in the N.T., seems a bit extreme. End result, roads are still blocked with parked cars, just have to be more cunning like the locals to avoid the tickets but still park/block the road!
Not quite, parking is usually cheaper with daily rates. Cheong Kong $250? and Macau Ferry Terminal is $150. Cheong Kong works on 24 hours so you can leave the car overnight depending on your "in" time and Macau Ferry is 7:00am-7:00pm. Malls offer 1-2 hours free usually with some spend, with exception for Kowloon station can get 4 hours free parking with receipt over $400, so just have lunch and ask the cashier to provide a receipt for parking (chain restaurants won't).
But there are also side streets that one could park on, if you can find a space, and maybe before you would get a ticket once every few times but now is quite more consistent to get a ticket.
