How often do they do that? It seemed once every half year but this one comes after the previous one in November.

There seems to be be a correlation between the number of vehicles and the number of parking tickets issued. A cynic would suggest a blitz occurs when they are down against their targets. It would be interesting to see if the blitz is in parking blackspots or the New Territories as per previous purges.

They should be proud...they ticketed dozens of light commercial vehicles parked on side of the crescent behind my office, not blocking anyone...cue the rich pointing from their ivory towers, "Why don't they just park legally...?"...

How about some blitz that actually concerns safety?

    Drivers not using indicators
    The roundabout white line crossers
    The no/full/parking light drivers
    The rear foglight drivers
The lose kids in car drivers
    the minor in frontseat drivers

    Issues that could increase safety.

I saw this article so I tried to park as good as possible. But really I was a bit nervous, feeding the meter more often than normal and parked legally along with a quick park and runs to get some stamps and envelopes, but didn't see any tickets on any cars nearby. So I was a bit surprised. Who did they actually ticket?

Is the new ticket $450 or $480?

No big deal. I kind of like it.

Does anyone move to Asia and expect people to drive sensibly?
