The video in post 28 in this thread seems to show otherwise.

After all these messages, what is actually the before / after FRT price hike for the X?

Saw one on this very board for a modes $1,133,000 - claiming new FRT price is $1.8m. Is that close to reality?

    Just got another email...

    Discontinuing Model S 60 and 60D

One year ago, we introduced the Model S 60 kWh battery as a more affordable option to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles. However, most customers ended up buying an equivalent to the Model S 75 kWh. To simplify the ordering process for our customers, we will be removing the 60 kWh option from our lineup.
Customers who still want the opportunity to own a 60 kWh Model S will have until April 16, 2017 to place their order.

I found it interesting that in all the time used to develop the Model X, they didn't test opening and closing the doors on a slope?

Because the front doors are motorized, if the motor can't overcome the weight of the door then you're left keeping the door open manually and there's no "notch" like how regular car doors can be held open by itself at 40%/fully open.
The other thing is they've ran into quality issues again; a friend still hasn't taken delivery of his after 1 month because of deep scratches in the paint like someone keyed his car and trim pieces that fell off. They wouldn't give him a loaner either... needless to say he's not happy and heard he's not the only one....
Guess the demand will die down now with the FRT...
