    Delusional perhaps.

Interesting article on Bloomberg. Looks at expiring EV subsidies in the US.

It is a pity the HK Gov choose to subsidize the super-rich with a massive discount on the Tesla. It really should of skewed the tax relief for smaller cars as Europe has.

The most popular e-car in Europe is the Zoe

If the target was to reduce road side emissions then surely getting more vehicles to switch to electric should of been the target rather than being a cool city with loads of Tesla's

The tax relief was on all EVs. Not just Teslas and one can now say it is indeed skewed to smaller / inexpensive EVs.

The biggest benefit was to rich people. The rebate should of been regressive with a subsidy for small cars.

So all Tesla owners can sell their cars now with a good profit I guess, or?

Anyone that wanted one, got in before the FRT deadline, so no profit to be had in the 2nd hand market for now.

No second hand market is flooded with them now and low demand so prices will be under pressure. Also any price declared paid over and above what was originally paid for the car is liable for tax.

Yeah, I had a look at 28car, there are maybe around 100 or so. The tax issue is easy to circumvent.

What was the new price then anyway? On 28car they start at around 450K
