Commute by motorcycle - Sai Kung to Sha Tin?

    Hi All

Arriving in August, looking to live in Sai Kung and work in Sha Tin.

Is this realistic daily on a motorbike without getting roasted in summer and soaked in the wet periods and blow off by typhoons?

Tongue in cheek a little, but does anyone have experience of this kind of commute?

    Thanks in advance.

There will be hot days, wet days & hot/wet days.

Public parking limited, and you'll get damage as they get rammed close together.

Depends how far you have to trek from parking to work in the rain/sun.

By bus can take 3 times longer than by motorcycle.

It is too far and too hot in summer, the uv index is very high in summer days.If time is not your concern, do take public transport instead of driving a car or motorcycle in HK.

    Too far? under 20km

No traffic lights until you get to Shatin. Always moving to keep cool, even with protective gear.

No big queues like Kowloon direction from Sai Kung.
