    The Ford All Electric F-150...

Ford certainly knows how to sell this story.

1 million lb+ load towed by an all electric F-150 truck.

Like one of the comments says .. what the hell was that tow-strap made from?!?

If they used a strap, it was probably something like Dyneema. It'd easily be stronger than the equivalent volume of any metal. Used in lots of sporting applications (climbing gear has used it for over a decade). It's not even expensive.

I wonder, when they did the shoot, whether they thought of the momentum issue. If they just stopped the car dead and didn't have independently operated breaking on the train carriages, they would have had one very squashed Ford.

Considering the person "driving" the pick up in the shoot was a very relaxed looking "chief engineer" of ford pickups we can only speculate that the math was done and/or stunt drivers and special effects were deployed.

the power is probably sufficient, but are there sufficient friction on the wheels to ensure those wheels doesn't spin dirts ? hmmm
