Looking forward to hear your delivery experience, heard it was quite unpleasant for some...

Curious, what was the unpleasant bit? Ours was simple ... (ignored the 300 line item checklist which a friend sent to me).

Were escorted out of the 'video tutorial' since that was in Canto, walked around checked paint, checked the interior and drove off after a question or two about something or the other.

In general have and in this particular case had very low expectations of any service levels.

Never too late, you can change your order to a Model Y (which is a 5 door), had a friend do this exactly few weeks back.

That would probably mean lots of paperwork, much more cost, and a few month no car. I think I can live with 3 - and have a closer look when the 2 comes out.

I wonder if it's worthwhile to buy another old car to get the tax waiver ;-)

Not that much paperwork, you pay the difference between the two orders, but depending on what spec you order, there will be quite a wait at the moment.

I saw a Long Range Model Y yesterday, so they are being delivered this week in HK.

Hey guys not sure if anyone recently heard about Tesla shipments, but been chasing the commercial rep for the past 2 weeks or so and they don't know anything besides "maybe Q1-2"...
Looks like the global supply and logistics crunch is hitting HK deliveries as well from now. Anyway, to all of you out there, stay patient and drive safe!

Long Range and Performance Model Ys are now in the delivery sequence, the Standard Range (Rear Wheel Drive) is now back of the queue, so you have 1-2 months wait if you wanted to base model for now.

Interesting now the with the price hike… SR now $8,000 more expensive . Wonder if Tesla will continue on with the hikes like in the US
