More than the indicator its the absence of a gear shifter stalk and the requirement to do some tiktok dance moves to switch the car from drive to reverse... Weird and will take a lot more getting used to, compared to the initial hurdle of not having a conventional dashboard.

There is a secondary set of gear selector buttons next to the hazard button.

Well I'm looking to sell a Tesla Model 3 which has warranty till August 2024 if anyone's interested. And this one has stalks for indicators and gear changes.

    Hey guys,

New Tesla Model Y owner in HK.

I have a few questions which may seem obvious. But just cant seem to find solid answers online. And dont know anyone with a tesla.

    1. Is there Autopilot / FSD in HK? Im guessing probably not, as the street in HK seem quite congested. Or if there is? then to what extent? And where can it be used? What is required? Does your car have to have a specific hardware?

    2. Does auto park work in Hong Kong? If so, is it reliable in HK's tight parking lots? And how do i use / enable it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

Autopilot yes... But given the speed and lane equirements it's pretty useless. Auto park no.

Also all entertainment apps are blocked.. even though you can fire up a tablet and watch Netflix while driving or parked.

Will probably start getting approved once BYD etc have their tech sorted and start applying pressure..

    1. Basic Autopilot only, no FSD anytime soon in HK.

    2. No, it is a feature of enhanced Autopilot, which has this feature curtailed* for the HK market sadly.

I find that I have to turn off all the lane/driver assist on my Smart #1 to get a peaceful driving experience. One time I 'accidentally' activated what might be the Smart version of autopilot and it was impressive but also scary as I didn't know how to turn it off (press on brakes LOL).
