It was a term used for carparks that were hard for the Model S and X to enter and park, less of an issue with the Model 3 and Y.

Just slightly less.. But still a little bit of an issue for people like me who don't want to be the first driver to put a scratch or dent on the car.

One part I don't get yet, charging is free or you need to pay, like i.e. in "East Point" Hang Hau. And I guess with 1000+ new Tesla every month charging spots might be hard to get anyway.

For the model 3 with 50KWh or so and ~$1.5/KWh home charging cost the max benefit you have is $75, so to me the free charging seems not overly attractive, but nice to use if there is no waiting time.

Hope it's not becoming like China with electricity only 3 days a week ;-)

There are plenty of public charging spaces, the issue is most people are creatures of habit and want to charge the same time, same place always.

If you don't mind charging at odd hours, then you have more choice, less wait and faster charging speeds.

My aim would be parking, not charging. If there is one available, good.

If you park somewhere like 10 hours, you can (if there is space) connect and leave the car charging all day? Or is there some sort of charging etiquette?

Depends on the type of charging you are connecting to, but as a rough guide:

Slow (13A): you could leave it plugged in all day.
Medium: Move your car once it is full (3-5 hours)
Fast: Stay near the car and move when full (30-60 mins).

Thank you! Very useful. I will be a good charger, I promise!
