    No Claims Discount Letter

    I am with Ping An insurance and previously when ever I swapped between insurance companies, they would just provide the NCD document for the new insurance company when I requested it.
    Now they want $500 for this document!
    Is this something new been implemented in the past year as I have never paid before for this document?

    Doesn't your old policy state the ncd?

    in the past just sent a copy of renewal that shows NCD

    Thats the max anyone can get so just show that should be fine. I never got a separate letter/document or showed one to insurance providers, just showed old policy, good enough la.

    Moving to UK and a few insurance companies accept NCD from Hong Kong.
