Car servicing?

Can anyone recommend a good and honest garage where we can take our Jag for a service. We tried the Jaguar dealers but they said there were loads of problems with it - if we did what they suugested it would cost more than the car is worth to correct them all!
The car is 8 years old but has been driving perfectly well with no obvious faults, although we do need to replace one or two of the tires. The centre charged a fortune even for things like that.
Any recommendations on Hong Kong island?

Never had an issue with these guys. Good, quick and much cheaper than those Fookie motors lot. They pick up and deliver too.

a mate of mine had a jag before, he took it to the jag dealership and got a quote of 120K to fix all the problems it apparently had, nearly the same price as the car. LOL

Tyre change u can do it at any tyre shop, servicing like oil change, filter etc shouldnt cost you more than 2K depending on how much oil and what grade you choose.

a local mate of mine owns a garage in Sai Ying Pun (no English) but if you need any help just PM and I'll help you out.

Thanks guys! Tommyknocker, where is Tai Yip motors based? Wtbhotia, I'm not actually sure where Sai Yung Pin is but if there's somewhere good on HK island that would be much easier for delivery and collection ......and even more so if they speak English. I have started learning Cantonese but am nowhere near good enough to discuss car problems yet!

It's on the western side of HK after Sheung Wan. I have seen quite a few garage there but not sure if they speak English.

Maybe you can try Auto Italia in To Kwa Wan near Jag service centre.
The owner is one of the senior service engineer for Bristish cars including Rolls Royce, Bently, Jag. He had worked in above dealers for a long time and several present dealers' techician are trained by him before.
