Can I keep my photocopier toner?

I have had a p/copier from company A for a couple of years and am breaking contract to move to a new contract with company B.

Company A will collect there p/copier on Tuesday.

Free toner was included in the contract with company A and I still have several left. Can I keep them? It doesn't mention them in the return letter...only the machine...

Anyone know where to sell them, I guess they're worth several 1000s.

Well they don't have to know. What is there from stopping you to say they had been used up?
Anyway I think you can keep them as they were not part of any contract.

    The machine log, perhaps?

Because toner doesn't usually come in throw-away bags or such but expensive cartridges that only fit the manufacturers machine.

Worth the try, unless the contract says something about returning the cartridges.
