@OP I cool my room with AC beforehand, switch it off when I go to sleep and use a (dyson) fan instead. Otherwise you can consider using the fan mode on your AC.
I have the AC on for a few hours and then turn it off before i go to sleep, i turn the fan on and its good enough to sleep through the night.
How much is your average electricity bill during the summer months?
How many in your household?
Cost of electricity per person?
maybe a good idea to set it on a timer bcos of costs & also continuously having it on does get freezing cold (for me anyways). I have even been woken up by the cold air blasting non stop. Also your core body temp drops during the night.
