I am looking for some possible options to re-install a cupboard door. Initially the door was on a track, and a wire rack pulled out like a drawer. We prefer to use the cupboard for storage so we removed the track and had a handy man come and re-attach the door. He used a metal hinge to screw into the door and side of the cabinet. Unfortunately after a few days the cupboard door started to pull away from the cabinet (the door is pretty heavy maybe …) with the top screw pulling completely out.

The cabinet door did not come from IKEA so not sure if it is possible to find another cabinet door with the hinges recessed into it like the other cabinet doors in our kitchen.

Any advice/options would be appreciated.

I did a search for Handyman so may end up calling Sammy at Kwankee. If there are other recommendations of Handymen to use (or NOT use) feel free to PM me.

We would like the Handyman to discuss options with us rather than just doing it. Cantonese speaking only would be fine.

Thanks!
