    armchair advice?

So I'd really like to get a comfy armchair for my apartment. I love to curl up in one while reading or sit in it while working on my computer.
The problem? My hall and door are SO narrow that I haven't been able to find any that would fit!
Do any of you know of any armchairs that can be disassembled and put back together again? That's the only way I can think of to get it in, but I haven't had any luck finding one so far.

I know of a company in the UK, but not much use here sorry, unless you want to import it.

Ooh, one in the UK? Maybe they'll open a shop here? Maybe....
Proplus, I live on the seventh floor but I do have a (small) elevator.
imparanoic, If I can't find anything I will settle for the poang, or something like it, but it's not really what I'm looking for. You can't really curl up in it, and the arms are not comfortable to lean on or balance a computer on.

What you need to find is a company that does bolt-on arms, which is how the company I mentioned does it. They do deliver worldwide, but I would think it would be quite pricey. Cost us £300 to get a sofa to France.

I do remember when we got a sofa here that it came in 3 pieces, and they managed to get it up 2 flights of stairs and round a tight corner halfway up. I would go ask some of the bigger shops, I'm sure they will have a solution.

Haha, yes. Currently I've been using a board I leaned up against the wall. It also works...kind of...

My cage door will come off but not so sure about the main door. I have about 25 inches (64 cm) at the door, and not much more in the hallway.
Good point! I'll have to go talk to some of the shop people.
