Getting rid of old furniture

I have an old sofa and footstool that I need to get rid of. Can anyone suggest the most cost effective way to do this please? I have tried to give them away for free but no takers.

Thanks will try those. Had listed it in swap it on FB and the used furniture bit on Geo - maybe those were the wrong places!

Never had anything not taken from Freecycle. (Mind you it's been good shit I've listed there. )

Geoexpat free stuff. That or the equivalent at the competing site. I've had stuff gone within hours.
