Sealed plywood/MDF board - where to buy?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a simple piece of sealed plywood/MDF board (or similar) to make a desk supported by wall brackets. Size about 120cm x 60cm max. I had a wander along Lockhart Road at the weekend past all the timber shops, but couldn't see the sort of thing I need.

Any ideas where to buy?

Also any ideas on the wall brackets would be good!
