what dehumidifier is good? Whirlpool Mitsubishi or Samsung?

    Is it necessary, or recommended, to get dehumidifiers professionally serviced from time to time? I'm conscious some models turn into "vacuum cleaner" levels of noise as they age, and presumably its because they need some servicing!

    My Hitachi is around 14 years old and going strong, not noisy, only basic filter cleaning has ever been done to it
