bridal registry options in hk!!!

I am getting married in Hong Kong this spring, and half the guests are from overseas. Aside from having them send/bring gifts from overseas or send money, has anyone ever created a registry online with either a HK store, or an online shop? Are there any department stores or chains which accept online payment with overseas (Canadian) credit cards? I have been living with my fiance for the past couple years, so there is a lot we already have, but basics like towels, pans, lamps would be useful.

Here, the custom is to give the couple cash or gift cheques (specially purchased from a bank).

Bridal registry would be a very "niche" market.

Setup a paypal account and allow people to send you cash.

Or set up a wishlist on one of the US stores and have them deliver to a relative who can then bulk ship it for you.

Local registries ... Lane Crawford and a few other stores have 'em. But seriously niche and not for "basics".

A company called Double Happiness used to do the bridal registry thing years ago (a decade or so?) no clue if they're still current or operating or owned by the same person who started it ...

Wing On has a gift registry. No wonder whether it accept overseas credit cards. Also the choice in its online shop is limited.

Lane Crawford has a Bridal Gift Registry (sorry you grooms), but it's not online.
