    CC Yuen,

You need to look at this more carefully - a registered electrical contractor is not usually required BUT a registered electrical worker of the appropriate EMSD class is required to sign off on electrical installations as meeting the EMSD requirements. If the works have not been carried out by a registered electrical contractor it is OK as long as the installation and sign off has been completed by a registered electrical worker.

shri, emx and ccyuen like this.

Ok, thanks, but there is no paper given to the end user (i.e. myself) on whether the works have been signed off, and even if they are signed off, they can be done by just some random registered electrical contractor who was not part of the contract?
