    I personally like the 3m filters. Available at Wingon/Pricerite, or if you're willing to do some DIY you can save some $$ by buying it on Amazon.

    The Xiaomi one puts out water pretty fast, and in terms of space I think under the sink is much better than an above sink version. Reverse osmosis units are bulky regardless of where you out them, and boiling with a single stage filter is both expensive and doesn't remove heavy metals and other contaminants.

    I think it looks fine too.
