    I got a nice new Bosch hammer drill on Apliu st for about $300. Been through about 10 masonry bits, $10 each from the local hardware store.

    While Apliu st got mentioned, there is a b&m store that is full on 2nd hand tools, mostly the quality brands, Bosch, Makita etc. Not dirt cheap, but for example the blue Bosch will last much longer than the green ones.

    And it was mentioned before, go SDS, it makes a HUGE difference if you drill into concrete. For metal or wood you need an adapter.

    Russian design, Chinese production. What could possibly go wrong?

    There's something to be said for buying things that are not designed be almost immediately tossed into landfill. That Carousell link was far better- they have Hilti and Milwaukee tools.

    if it was a kalashikov, maybe the product with be suited for it's purpose for it's main usage, but this product looks dodgy.
