    Repainting table legs

    Hi
I need to repaint the legs of a table. A friend who did the same in the past said his repainted furniture ended up very sticky. I have the paint but don’t want my granddaughter to end up covered in Dulux. Please can anyone advise

They are just standard wooden table legs like in the video above.

Do you have a dehumidifier? Run it on max so that the paint can dry and cure properly. Try to paint on a dry day with low humidity.

Sand, primer, sand, paint coat 1, let cure. paint coat 2 and it will outlive you.

You HAVE to use thinner on oil based gloss paints here. The humidity will make it take days to dry otherwise.. I think I used 10% when I last did it. Same goes for laceur / varnish.
