Had to drive over at least four different bridges and past two airports to collect these in NYC but well worth it. They fit beautifully in the available space.

    auctionninja.com

charish.com isn't an auction site, but has vintage furniture and some sellers will ship around the world. Otherwise find whatever site advertises local estate sales.

Latest haul. Chair frame in excellent condition. It's Danish and made of teak. Upholstery needs replacing. Mirror was too cheap to pass up. Dog still not impressed.

Back from the furniture restorer. Very pleased with the results. Asked him to make the wood grain pop and I think he accomplished that.

Decorating with a vintage Chinese propaganda poster and film cameras on the left and carved mask and arrows from Papua New Guinea on the right.

Papua New Guinea cannibals ate Michael Rockefeller.

The armchair was a good pick - comfortable - can't be said for all design furniture.
