Polygamy is good for HK..or just good for Henry Tang?

So I came across this article in the pro-Tang HK standard with an article that says "Sex festival sees more as best for happy marriages".

(Sex festival sees more as best for happy marriages - The Standard)

    Excerpt:
Partners typically also experience a less fulfilling sex life and are likely to have extra-marital affairs.
This is significant as, according to Ng, unsatisfactory sex is among the top reasons behind divorce.
Hong Kong Sex Association president and festival organizer Stanislaus Lai Ding-kee knows such liberal views are bound to draw flak from conservatives and religious groups, but stresses they are not demanding people ditch monogamy right away.
"Rather, we want them to be aware that there are alternative systems for relationships out there like polyamory that may be possibly better than the traditional monogamous relationship," Lai said.

Now I personally do not advocate for polygamy, but whether I agree or disagree with it is less important as to the curious timing of this article. Henry Tang today just more or less admitted to having an illegitimate child from an extra-martial affair. Is the Standard so desperate to prop-up Tang as to promote polygamy as an excuse for Tang's action? It's funny how the Singtao group (which owns the Standard) is becoming more and more desperate to prop up Tang in light of his negative rating in the polls.

That depends, who's going to bear the responsibility of the construction of the basement?

I wonder if Tang finds his basement useful for more than just storing wine, you know, for "other" activities that he wants to keep out of the prying eye of the public. After all, Jackie Chan is known to have a "private room" for his personal "entertainment".

The newspapers are saying Tang's child was "created" in the UK when he was studying in high school (the brits call it secondary school) there.

As for the basement's responsiblity, I thought Tang made his wife bear the responsibility, yeah a real man he is, hahaha. I wonder what Tang will say when the media outed his illegitimate child, will he say his ex-gf made him do it? You know something along the line of: "I was young and foolish...and I just could'nt resist her..you know she had such a fine body...and those legs...whoa...no man can resist it!"

Speaking of weird British English, only the Brits can come up with terms like "bollocks" or "cheerio" or call people "mum" when they are not their mums... I wonder what Tang calls his "ex" however? Or would Tang admit he is a "bugger"?

Getting back to the original topic, I have to say I always had a tough time understanding polygamists. What on earth is the motivation behind multiple commitments....one wife can be demanding enough...several....it's like tying a noose around your neck? Also...doesn't it also mean multiple mother-in-laws!!!!......eeerrh....I just had a shiver run down my spine. Wouldn't it be much simpler to remain single and commitment free?
