    They will bow to you when you are dead. In a Chinese funeral, they will have portrait of the deceased which mourners will bow to.

    make an attempt to use it.... how can you expect people suddenly to speak mandarin when they never learned the language?

    Speaking to many young HK'ers they say say don't worry about Canto to learn, just learn Mandarin. I tend to agree. If I have problems with people not understanding I switch to Mandarin or just stop drinking....
